While facing more and more competitive packaging products in the market, AIRBAG breaks the traditional concept of packing material and has developed “AIRBAG” to replace polystyrene, EPE, and paper for interior packing. Initially, facilities were set up completely in Taiwan and China and officially entered the packaging market at the beginning of 2004, and immediately earned a good reputation from the packaging business without discretion.

Taiwan Headquarter:
Technical support, Marketing, Research and Development, Machine Development, 40 employees, 6 Production lines; currently producing 1,800,000 pieces monthly, Capital US$ 8,000,000.
Suzhou Factory (100% owned by TPE):
Film Production Base, Main production center, 80 employees, 10 production lines; currently producing 3,600,000 pieces monthly.
2004 - Founded AIRBAG PACKING CO., LTD in TAIWAN
2005 - Obtain 14 patents from Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea and U.S.
2006 - Applied for 15 more patents. Enter European toner market.
2007 - Established Suzhou Factory in China
2008 - Become Samsung printing division vendor
2009 - Package development for Samsung DVD/ PC. Design the 6th toner cartridge model’s packaging for Samsung. Suzhou Factory had expanded and move to a large facility.
2010 - Enter US market with first Jabil’s refurbished Set Top Box Packaging. 6 More machines setup in Suzhou Factory, a long with a printing machine

擁三十五項專利數量比日本對手多三倍成立於二○○三年的亞比斯國際，靠著三十五項空氣柱緩衝包材國際專利，國際客戶橫跨了美國、德國、日本、韓國和中國，包括杜邦（DuPont）、惠普（HP）、三星（Samsung）和索尼（Sony）等。 不管是專利數還是大廠客戶數，均領先競爭對手日商AIR-PAQ三倍之多，堪稱 「小池塘中的第一名」。 過去，生產商為了保護各種電子產品、酒瓶免於碰撞造成損壞，通常會在箱子與產品間，放上一層緩衝包材，例如：保麗龍、EPE、紙塑等；但在環保、省空間趨勢上，出現了外觀如氣球般的氣柱式緩衝包材。 空氣柱緩衝包材僅占整體包裝材料的五％至一○％，可謂「新起之秀」。
另方面，他也將改良技術拿去申請專利，築起競爭的「護城河」。而當他掌握35個發明專利，不僅陸續取得三星、惠普和索尼等科技大廠的訂單；同時，也築起自己的競爭門檻。 目前亞比斯隨著產能開出、加上大客戶數逐年以兩成速度增加，每年營收與獲利不斷成長。 在空氣柱緩衝包材製作中，比得是閉氣最久的能耐，而這不也正是亞比斯一路走過來的真實寫照？因為憋得久，埋頭鍛鍊讓自己更強，它今日才能成為小池塘的第一名。 本文由商業周刊提供 |
